Comic Book Challenge Day 6: Most Annoying Character
Deadpool
Just shut up, and go home.
I just cannot stand Deadpool. The jokes are lame, and very rarely crossover into the realm of even slightly funny. Whenever I’ve encountered a fan describing why Deadpool is awesome, the answer is always “because Deadpool does blah-blah-blah random thing.” I’m a fan of random, but I also like my humor to be “smart.” I’m just not a fan of lowest common denominator humor, and that is what I see Deadpool to be. At least Remender made him tolerable in Uncanny X-Force.
Tolerable Deadpool. Must be surrounded by other more awesome characters.
