Introductions and What This is All About

Hello out there to anyone that may have stumbled along my little nook on the net. Being this is my first post I would like to start with a short introduction of who I am and what I hope this site will become.

I am currently living in Tokyo, Japan and have been hear for roughly 4 years. I have a degree in Japanese and Japanese literature from the University of Georgia. I have studied in Hokkaido in the north to Fukuoka in the south.

I am a huge Star Wars fan and I am into a lot of things nerdy, but I only know a little about a lot of things. This led to the name of this site, The Know Nothing Nerd. I hope to look at different things and take my knowledge and level of involvement to a more “nerdy” level.

Being this is a blog, I’ll probably be throwing other stuff in here from my travels in Japan and beyond.

This site is starting off pretty basic, but hopefully it will evolve into something awesome. I’ll need to look into how to build up a site, graphics, etc…
